Central Utah Water Conservancy District is proud to offer the Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper (QWEL) program.

The QWEL program is one of two approved US EPA Watersense Irrigation Auditor certification programs in the nation. The 20-hour program includes the following topics:

Understanding Local Water Supplies
Irrigation Sustainability/Efficiency
Soils
Water Management Techniques
Irrigation Controller Programming
Irrigation Troubleshooting

This training includes three sessions:

Tuesday, October 14, 2025
Wednesday, October 15, 2025 (Audit Performed)
Thursday, October 16, 2025 (Exam)

Lunch is included Tuesday and Wednesday

Cost:

Class and Exam: $150
Class Only: $100
Exam Only: $50
