About QWEL
QWEL is one of two approved US EPA WaterSense Irrigation Auditor certification programs in the nation.
QWEL provides 20 hours of educational training in irrigation system design & maintenance, programming & operation.
Qualified Water Efficient Landscapers (QWEL) are recognized by QWEL the EPA WaterSense program, the Central Iron County Water Conservancy District, USU Extension, Washington County Water Conservancy District & the Utah Nursery and Landscape Association as landscape professionals that are making a positive impact towards reducing landscape water demand.
Training Cost & Fee Waiver Information
Course fee: $100
Test fee: $50
Washington County Water Conservation District will cover 50% of the total fee for registrants who have a home or business address in Washington County, including both institutional and commercial participants.
