QWEL (English) - Orem, UT

Central Utah Water Conservancy District is proud to offer the Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper (QWEL) program.

The QWEL program is one of two approved US EPA Watersense Irrigation Auditor certification programs in the nation.  The 20-hour program includes the following topics:

• Understanding Local Water Supplies
• Irrigation Sustainability/Efficiency
• Soils
• Water Management Techniques
• Irrigation Controller Programming
• Irrigation Troubleshooting

This training includes three sessions:

• Monday, October 19, 2026
• Tuesday, October 20, 2026 (Audit Performed)
• Wednesday, October 21, 2026 (Exam)

Lunch is included Monday and Tuesday

Cost:

• Class and Exam: $150
• Class Only: $100
• Exam Only: $50
